(What is a Personal Chef?)

A Personal Chef is the affordable alternative to what most people think of as a Private Chef. While a Personal Chef generally works for one family and cooks for them on a daily basis, 2chefs4you cooks for several individuals, families and clients at a time.

What is a Personal Chef Service?

A Personal Chef Service is the answer to providing you with nutritious, gourmet meals in the comfort of your home without the hassle of the meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking and clean up. A Personal Chef cooks anywhere from 1-4 days per month and prepares a variety of meals based on your specific preferences and dietary needs. The meals can be refrigerated or frozen and you simply heat the meals, enjoy the free time, clean kitchen, and fabulous food.

Who uses a Personal Chef? Who can I buy gift certificates for?

New Parents. A Great gift for new parents that have enough to worry about.

Busy Families or Friends that have everything but time.

Dieters. Weight loss or lifestyle change to a healthier diet. Dieting requires a lot of planning, shopping and meal preparation-all things a personal chef can help with.

People on the move. Moving can be very stressful. Give your family or friends the peace of mind of having prepared delicious meals waiting in their refrigerator.

Elderly and home-bound individuals. 2chefs4you can help put healthy, nutritious meals on the table and give that loved one the joy of having someone help out.

Corporate gifts for clients or employees. This is a gift that your clients or employees will remember for a long time to come.

Home from the hospital. 2chefs4you can help take the stress of convalescence away by providing healthy meals.

Do you cook in my kitchen?

Yes! Meals are prepared in the safety of your own kitchen. On the agreed upon cooking date, we bring fresh ingredients for your meals along with our own equipment and we prepare your entrées on site. At the end of the day your kitchen is left sparkling clean and full of the aromas of good home cooking.

How  long will you be here?

We will be cooking several different entrées and side dishes from scratch, so it will take  several hours. Average length of time is 4-8 hours, but this can vary depending on the menu. We are most willing to work with your schedule or any situation, and we can make arrangements in advance so that our cooking date fits into your schedule.

Do I need to be home when you’re cooking?

No! You do not have to be home. We just need access to the kitchen on our cooking day. We are the chefs and we do not send anyone who you don’t know to cook for you.

I have special dietary needs. Can 2chefs4you accommodate us?

Yes – this is what we do! 2chefs4you personalized service is tailored to your dietary needs and preferences; celiac, gluten-free, lactose intolerance, and diabetic,  low-carb, low-fat, soy-free, corn-free, low sodium, low-fat, carbohydrate and low cholesterol, organic, vegan and vegetarian diets, can be customized for you to create a better lifestyle.  We can make delicious meals taking these foods and diets into account.

Can you prepare my recipes or do you use your own?

We can prepare your family favourites, or introduce you to new recipes. That is one of the benefits of hiring 2chefs4you.

Can you cook for Special Occasions, Luncheon and Dinner Parties in my home?

Yes! We will create an elegant menu tailored to your specifications and do all the grocery shopping, cooking and clean-up, leaving you free to enjoy yourself, your guests, and a delectable meal.

Special Occasion Dinners consist of five courses: two appetizers; salad; soup; elegant entrée, with appropriate side dishes; and an elegant dessert.

Therefore, the final service charge plus the cost of groceries becomes due after services have been rendered.

How is payment made?

Payment in full is due on or before the date of service. There is no need to sign a long-term contract and you can use the service as often as you like.
